Biography

Barbara Beatrice studied at Thomas More College receiving a BES degree majoring in Fine Arts in 1988 under Darrell Brothers and Walter Driesbach. She has since been working full-time as a professional sculptor and more recently as a gallery owner, curating and exhibiting local sculptors’ work.


Working in stone, wood and bronze, she carves figures, animals and has completed several commissions of children, including “Reading is a Journey”, the marble sculpture located at Cincinnati’s Doherty School Library.

    Barbara spends the winter in Florida where she also works on her art and is an active member of the Bonita Springs Art League and the Naples Art Association.
